As a Dining Room Attendant at Muskoka Bible Centre (MBC), you will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our guests. Through providing friendly service, maintaining a clean and organized dining space, and ensuring guests’ needs are met, you will help foster an environment of genuine hospitality. This role is about more than dining room service—it’s an opportunity to serve others with a joyful heart and reflect Christ-like hospitality in all you do.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in the dining area in a friendly and professional manner.
- Clear tables promptly and ensure guests’ needs are attended to throughout their meal.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items using the dishwasher.
- Assist with setting up the dining area before service and resetting it after each meal.
- Monitor food and beverage supplies and notify kitchen staff when replenishment is needed.
- Sweep and mop dining areas and floors after meal service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the dining and kitchen teams to provide a positive guest experience.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Hours of Work
- Daytime, evening, weekend shifts available on an as-needed basis
- Physically demanding, lots of standing and walking
Qualifications
- A servant attitude toward serving MBC guests
- A solid work ethic, an eye for the big picture and being willing and ready to serve others describes the candidates that will be selected to serve on this team
